Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Body Swap collects when you use the service, why, and the choices you have. It is written to describe what this application actually does, not a generic template.

What we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text).
• Credit and transaction history: your credits balance and a record of grants, purchases, refunds, and usage deductions.
• Payment addresses: if you top up with cryptocurrency, we generate a one-time deposit address and record the amount, asset, and confirmation status. We never ask for or store a seed phrase or private key.
• Login activity: each time you sign in, we record the IP address, a coarse device/browser label, and an approximate city-level location derived from that IP, used to help detect suspicious account activity (see 'Account security' below).
• Usage sessions: when you start a live character-swap session, we record the start/end time and credits charged so usage and billing stay accurate.
• Support and appeal messages: anything you submit through the Support form or an account-suspension appeal.

What we do not store

Your webcam video is streamed in real time over a direct, private connection for processing and streamed back — it is not recorded or retained after your session ends.

How we use this information

• To operate your account: authentication, displaying your credit balance, and running the live-swap feature you request.
• To process payments: detecting and confirming cryptocurrency top-ups and crediting your account accordingly.
• To keep the service secure: login activity is used to flag accounts that show signs of credential sharing or abuse (for example, logging in from an unusually high number of devices in a short period), so an administrator can review them.
• To communicate with you: transactional emails (verification, password resets, support replies) sent via the mail provider configured by the site operator.
• To respond to support requests and suspension appeals you submit.

Referrals

If you sign up using someone's referral link, we record that relationship so the referring account can be credited. No additional personal data is shared between referrer and referee beyond the fact that the referral occurred.

Account security and suspension

An administrator may suspend an account that shows signs of abuse. If your account is suspended, you will be shown the reason (if one was given) and may submit a single written appeal, which is stored and reviewed by an administrator.

Data retention

Account, credit, and transaction records are kept for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy accounting and abuse-prevention needs. Login-activity records are retained only as long as needed for the security purpose described above.

Your choices

• You can update your name, email, and password at any time from your Profile page.
• You can delete your account from your Profile page. This removes your account and associated personal data, other than records we are required to keep for financial or legal reasons.
• You can contact us through the Support page with any privacy question or request.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
